Specialist Parts Sourcing
We source parts from numerous places, including new parts from OEM stock and aftermarket suppliers at home and abroad, used parts from specialist breakers and our own stock plus electronic parts from specialist suppliers and manufacturers!
Whether you’re struggling to source EV parts or you are fed up with poor quality untested parts from a traditional breakers yard, we are here to help. Our founder has worked alongside UK independent garages for several years, helping them with the most difficult repairs on electric and hybrid vehicles.
We also carry out a small number of repairs in our workshop to ensure our parts are high quality and work perfectly and to assess new challenges in the EV repair sector. Our founder specialises in the Renault fully electric drivetrain.
Component Repairs
We carry out repairs to numerous EV Components across multiple brands including component level repairs to On Board Chargers, Motor Controllers and reconditioning of EV motors. All repairs are covered by our excellent warranty and are protected by our insurance.
On Board Charger Repair
Rather than replacing a component at a cost of several thousand pounds it may be possible to carry out component level repairs. Common issues include multiple capacitor failure on mains input filter stages
Motor Controller Repair
Motor controllers are a central component of EVs and a crucial part the precharge stage of vehicle startup. Common issues include voltage measurement faults and insulation failure
EV Motor Reconditioning
Certain motors can suffer from bearing issues or alignment faults, causing noise and mechanical failure if left unresolved. We can rebuild EV motors to a high standard to ensure customer satisfaction through reliable operation and reduced repair costs

Renault Zoe 5AQ Motor rebuilds
We have rebuilt numerous Zoe 5AQ motors due to bearing issues. Rebuilt motors have been extensively tested and proven to be reliable over time.
Zoe 5AM PEB (Motor Controller) Insulation Faults
We have repaired insulation faults within Zoe 5AM PEBs (motor controllers). If the PEB is not repairable for any reason we can transfer the immobiliser VIN coding to a replacement used PEB.
On Board Charger Repairs
We have repaired On Board Chargers from multiple vehicles including the Kia Soul and Mitsubishi i-miev (Peugeot ion/Citroen C-zero).
Charging issues
We have repaired various components including Renault Zoe charging sockets and on board chargers for various models.
Specialist Workshop
Through sheer necessity we have established a specialist workshop which carries out a small number of EV and hybrid repairs. Our founder is a Renault electric drivetrain specialist and we carry out repairs where a workshop cannot be found to take on the work.
Common repairs are Renault Zoe motor rebuilds (any year) and non charge issues on the Renault Zoe and Nissan Leaf. If you are in need of specialist repair then get in touch!
